Former KCD Financial Broker, Christopher Parr, Sanctioned By Kansas Securities Division And Also The Subject Of A FINRA Investigation
The Wolper Law Firm is currently investigating claims against Christopher Parr, a former Financial Advisor at KCD Financial in Overland Park, Kansas. Christopher Parr first entered the securities industry in the 1990s and previously worked at Ameritus Investment Corp.
According to publicly available records released by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), on October 5, 2017, FINRA initiated an investigation against Christopher Parr:
“On October 5, 2017, FINRA informed Christopher Parr that it has made a preliminary determination to recommend that disciplinary action be brought against him. FINRA also informed Parr of the nature of the potential violations. FINRA has made a preliminary determination that Parr’s conduct allegedly violated FINRA Rules 3240, 3280, and 2010.”
The FINRA investigation follows a 2017 sanction by the Kansas Division of Securities based on Christopher Parr illegally borrowing money from three brokerage clients. In addition, Christopher Parr was previously sanctioned by the state of Missouri in 2007.
